August 11 at 17.00 on the third floor of the VOKHM. I.N. The exhibition project “Horse. Equus. Hippos “, prepared by the natural museum-reserve” Divnogorie “. Voronezh residents and guests of the city will be presented with an interactive exposition: visitors can see the skeleton of a wild horse and flint tools, get acquainted with the panoramas of archaeological excavations, independently dig out and identify ancient bones.

The project “Horse. Equus. Hippos »combines the artistic and educational beginnings. Collections from two monuments: places of death of wild horses “Divnogorie-9” and parking of the ancient person “Divnogorie-1” with the age of 12-14 thousand years are supplemented with exhibits from the collection of the museum named after. I.N. Kramskoy.

For inquisitive young and adult visitors, the exhibition will present answers to many tricky questions, for example: is it true that the ancestor of a modern horse was a growth with a cat? How did the horse, unlike the mammoths, not die out, but managed to adapt? Is there a place for horses in our technocratic world?

The exhibition will last until August 28.

Admission price for adults is 100 rubles, for privileged categories of citizens – 50 rubles.
