March 30 at 16.00 on the third floor of the permanent exposition of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy held the opening of a solo exhibition of the recognized master of modern sculpture Alexander Nikolaevich Burganov. The exhibition features 17 works of graphic and sculpture by the author from the collection of the Moscow State Museum “Burganov’s House”.

Alexander Nikolaevich was born on March 20, 1935 in Baku. In 1959 he graduated from the Moscow Higher Art and Industrial School.

Alexander Burganov is a world-famous sculptor, who made a great contribution to the development of the school of monumental sculpture, the People’s Artist of the RSFSR and the Udmurt Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, Doctor of Arts, Professor of the Moscow State Academy of Art and Industry named after S.G. Stroganova, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, laureate of the State Prize of the USSR, full member of the Russian Academy of Arts.

Visiting the exhibition is included in the entrance fee to the museum.
